September 13, 2025: Gaffney, SC 29341 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) and the host Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC), observed Chapin's volleyball team hold off Gaffney by a score of 2-1.
With the win, Chapin improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest (Greenville, SC) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 16-5. First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC)
The Indians now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a AAAAA Region 2 battle on Tuesday, September 16. Gaffney will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Eastside (Taylors, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 9-2.
