In Saturday's non-league match, the Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), by a final score of 2-1.

Next up, the Stars confront the McCutcheon Mavericks (Lafayette, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 16. Western Boone will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Mavericks come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, IN).
