September 13, 2025: Eagle River, WI 54521 Northland Pines Eagles (Eagle River, WI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Crandon Cardinals (Crandon, WI), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Northland Pines upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Eagles host Merrill (Merrill, WI) to meet the Bluejays in a Great Northern challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a record of 10-10. Merrill won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wausau East (Wausau, WI)
Next, the Cardinals meet the Ripon Tigers (Ripon, WI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Crandon will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Wisconsin Dells (Wisconsin Dells, WI).
