Iowa High School Volleyball - Grundy Center tips Roland-Story
September 13, 2025: Grundy Center, IA 50638 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) and the visiting Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA), observed Grundy Center's volleyball team hold off Roland-Story by a tally of 2-1.
The Spartans (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Warriors go into the test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Wapsie Valley was edged by Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Norsemen now own a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nevada for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Roland-Story will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Cubs record now stands at 14-7.
