California High School Volleyball - King's Academy over The Nueva School

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting King's Academy Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the The Nueva School Mavericks.

The Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Soquel (Soquel, CA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Soquel beat Design Tech (Redwood City, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Mavericks now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit Shasta for a Private School - Bay test on Thursday, September 18. The Nueva School will face a Black Bears squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Black Bears record now stands at 9-5.
