September 13, 2025: Kingsley, IA 51028 Kingsley-Pierson Panthers (Kingsley, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Kingsley-Pierson improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA) to face the Eagles in a Western Valley test on Tuesday, September 16. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 8-1. Lawton-Bronson lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against West Monona (Onawa, IA)
The Tigers now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paton-Churdan for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Woodbine will face a Rockets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 1-3.
