The Southern Raiders edged the host Lewiston Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Sacred Heart Irish (Falls City, NE) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 23. Southern will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Irish go into the game with a 4-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE).

The Tigers (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Meridian (Daykin, NE). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Meridian nudged Deshler (Deshler, NE), 2-0, in a non-league game.
