September 13, 2025: Malad, ID 83252 Malad Dragons (Malad, ID) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Oakley Hornets (Oakley, ID), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Malad advances its record to 11-4 on the season. The Dragons travel to Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 2-2. Horseshoe Bend won 3-0 in their recent league test against Cascade (Cascade, ID)
The Hornets now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lighthouse Christian for a 2A Snake River challenge on Tuesday, September 16. Oakley will play a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hagerman (Hagerman, ID). The Lions record now stands at 8-4.
