West Allis Hale Huskies (West Allis, WI) boosters left the game pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookfield Academy (Brookfield, WI). The Blue Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Brookfield Academy was nudged by Living Word Lutheran (Jackson, WI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans play the Racine Lutheran Crusaders (Racine, WI) in a Metro Classic challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Martin Luther will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Shoreland Lutheran (Somers, WI).
