September 13, 2025: Myrtle Point, OR 97458 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) and the visiting Yamhill-Carlton Tigers (Yamhill, OR), observed Myrtle Point's volleyball team top Yamhill-Carlton by a count of 2-0.
The Bobcats (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Taft (Lincoln City, OR). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Taft notched a victory over Willamina (Willamina, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Tigers battle the Banks Braves (Banks, OR) in a 3A Coastal Range contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Yamhill-Carlton will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Braves go into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Melba (Melba, ID).
