September 13, 2025: Salinas, CA 93901 Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Chieftains (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Condors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, North Monterey County was beaten by Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks meet the North Monterey County Condors (Castroville, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Oakwood will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Condors enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA).
