A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wonders confront the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A challenge, on Thursday, September 16. A.L. Brown will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC).

The Ragin' Bulls now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mooresville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 16. Hickory Ridge will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-4.
