Indiana High School Volleyball - Central Noble crushed by Whitko
September 14, 2021: South Whitley, IN 46787 The Whitko Wildcats topped the visiting Central Noble Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwood for a Three Rivers game on Thursday, September 16. Whitko will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-1 league win over Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN). The Knights record now stands at 9-3.
The Cougars (1-15) will now prepare for their game against West Noble (Ligonier, IN). The Chargers enter the Northeast Corner game with a 3-12 record. In their last game, West Noble was dropped by Lakeland (LaGrange, IN), 3-2, in a league game.
Match Summary
Congrats to the Varsity volleyball team on their straight set win tonight! It was a true team effort all night with the entire roster adding to the stat sheet! The Lady Wildcats came out strong with great serving and net play. Senior Morgan Dyck had a great night from the service line with 2 aces and 11 service points. Senior Reese Bradford lead the offense with 26 assists and added an ace as well. Senior Graycee Sands came off the bench in the third adding a spark to the defensive side with 1 dig and 1 service point.
