Virginia High School Volleyball - James River crushed by Covington
September 14, 2022: Covington, VA 24426 The Covington Cougars topped the visiting James River Knights volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bath County for a Pioneer test on Tuesday, September 20. Covington will confront a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Narrows (Narrows, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 8-4.
The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Lord Botetourt was knocked off by Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
