In Thursday's league game, the Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) football team smashed the visiting Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV), by a final score of 49-6.

The Gaels (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Silverado (Las Vegas, NV). The Skyhawks come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Silverado was trounced by Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV), 35-14, in a league game.

The Patriots now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cathedral Catholic for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Liberty will battle a Dons team coming off a 35-21 non-league loss to Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Dons record now stands at 1-4.
