The Tara Trojans football team (Baton Rouge, LA), was beaten 39-8 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA)

The Green Devils (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA). The Indians come into the 4A District 6 challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Istrouma achieved victory over Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA), 40-0, in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Feliciana for a 4A District 6 challenge on Thursday, September 21. Tara will meet a Saints team coming off a 30-28 league win over McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA). The Saints record now stands at 2-1.
