September 14, 2023: Bend, OR 97701 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR) and the visiting Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR), saw Mountain View's soccer squad triumph over Churchill by a margin of 8-0.
The Cougars now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Redmond/Culver for a 5A Intermountain test on Friday, September 22. Mountain View will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Madras (Madras, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Churchill drops to 0-5 on the season. The Lancers host North Eugene (Eugene, OR) to meet the Highlanders in a 5A Midwestern test on Tuesday, September 19. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 3-2. North Eugene won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Lebanon (Lebanon, OR)
