Lynnfield Pioneers (Lynnfield, MA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA), 5-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers face the Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals (South Hamilton, MA) in a Cape Ann - Small challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Lynnfield will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Generals enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Newburyport (Newburyport, MA).
