September 14, 2023: Forest City, NC 28018 In Thursday's non-league game, the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) football team knocked off the host East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC), by a final score of 28-6.
The Blue Devils (5-0) will now prepare for their game against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, R-S Central toppled Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 42-14, in a non-league game.
The Cavaliers now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chase for a game on Thursday, September 21. East Rutherford will battle a Trojans team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
