September 14, 2023: Pilot Mountain, NC 27041 The East Surry Cardinals football team (Pilot Mountain, NC), was tipped 16-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC)
The Wolfpack (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC). The Red Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, T.W. Andrews nipped West Stokes (King, NC), 28-14, in a league challenge.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Wilkes for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 21. East Surry will meet a Blackhawks team coming off a 32-14 non-league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Blackhawks record now stands at 2-3.
