Indiana High School Soccer - Westfield held off by Carmel
September 14, 2023: Carmel, IN 46032 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Carmel Greyhounds (Carmel, IN) and the visiting Westfield Shamrocks (Westfield, IN), saw Carmel's soccer squad get by Westfield by a margin of 1-0.
The Greyhounds now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Homestead for a non-league test on Friday, September 15. Carmel will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Warsaw (Warsaw, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Westfield drops to 5-4 on the season. The Shamrocks travel to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN) to meet the Bulldogs in a test on Tuesday, September 19. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 6-1. Brownsburg 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN)
