In Thursday's league contest, the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) volleyball squad nudged the host Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Parrots battle the Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 15. Poly will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Gauchos go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Carson (Carson, CA).
