With the win, Community Christian moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC) to battle the Warriors in a NCCAA 2A South bout on Friday, September 15. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Gramercy Christian lost 7-3 in their recent league bout against Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC)
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Southside Christian Warriors (Clayton, NC) in a NCCSA AA District 3 - East Region bout, on Monday, September 18. Bethel Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC).
