September 14, 2023: Fargo, ND 58104 Shanley Deacons (Fargo, ND) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Fargo South Bruins (Fargo, ND), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Deacons confront the Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 16. Shanley will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sheyenne (West Fargo, ND).
The Bruins now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Red River for a East Region challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Fargo South will confront a Roughriders team coming off a 2-1 league loss to West Fargo (West Fargo, ND). The Roughriders record now stands at 4-5.
