Georgia High School Softball - Effingham County bounces Glynn Academy
September 14, 2023: Brunswick, GA 31520 The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) and the host Glynn Academy Terrors (Brunswick, GA), saw Effingham County's softball squad nip Glynn Academy by a count of 7-2.
The Rebels now sport a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richmond Hill for a non-league match on Monday, September 18. Effingham County will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Bryan County (Pembroke, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Glynn Academy falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Terrors host Charlton County (Folkston, GA) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Monday, September 18. The Indians enter the match with a record of 5-4. Charlton County won 8-2 in their recent league match against Turner County (Ashburn, GA)
