September 14, 2023: Moundville, AL 35474 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Hale County Wildcats (Moundville, AL) and the visiting Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL), saw Hale County's volleyball squad beat Bibb County by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Hale County upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL) to play the Bears in a 4A Area 7 bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Sipsey Valley won 3-0 in their recent league bout against American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL)
The Choctaws now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Shelby County for a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. Bibb County will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.
