Illinois High School Volleyball - Bishop McNamara tips Herscher

September 14, 2023: Herscher, IL 60941

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) and the host Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL), saw Bishop McNamara's volleyball squad nip Herscher by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Bishop McNamara upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Fightin' Irish host Peotone (Peotone, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Peotone lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL)

The Tigers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Nazareth Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. Herscher will play a Roadrunners squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 4-10.
