With the win, Washburn upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Harvey (Harvey, ND) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Harvey won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Griggs County Central/Midkota (Cooperstown, ND)
The Wildcats now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Ullin/Hebron for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. Center-Stanton will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier (Edgeley, ND). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-5.
