September 14, 2023: Freeman, SD The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD) and the visiting Centerville Tornadoes (Centerville, SD), saw Freeman Academy/Marion's volleyball squad beat Centerville by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Freeman Academy/Marion upgrades its record to 1-8 on the year. The host Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Oldham-Ramona/Rutland won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD)
The Tornadoes now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gayville-Volin for a B Region 4 bout on Thursday, September 14. Centerville will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 5-3.
