The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains topped the visiting St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Chieftains now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fostoria for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Hopewell-Loudon will confront a Redmen team coming off a 3-0 league win over Maumee (Maumee, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 5-8.
