September 14, 2023: Augusta, GA 30907 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Laney Wildcats (Augusta, GA) and the host Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA), saw Laney's volleyball squad beat Westside by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Laney upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA) to play the War Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. The War Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-8.
The Patriots now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Burke County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19.
