California High School Volleyball - St. Anthony overwhelmed by Mary Star of the Sea
September 14, 2023: Long Beach, CA 90802 The St. Anthony Saints volleyball team (Long Beach, CA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA)
The Stars (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors come into the non-league challenge with a 16-3 record. In their last challenge, Taft went down by El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Saints encounter the Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) in a Del Rey challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. St. Anthony will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA).
