September 14, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91978 Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars battle the Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) in a Grossmont Valley match, on Tuesday, September 19. Steele Canyon will attempt to advance on its 14-8 season record. The Monarchs come into the match with a 1-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA).
With the loss, Montgomery drops to 6-13 on the campaign. The Aztecs host Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 19. The Crusaders come into the match with a record of 14-4. Mater Dei Catholic won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against High Tech SD (San Diego, CA)
