In Thursday's league battle, the host North Stanly Comets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mount Pleasant Tigers.

The Comets (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders come into the non-league battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, A.L. Brown went down by Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.
