September 14, 2024: Grayslake, IL 60030 Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Vernon Hills advances its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Maine East (Park Ridge, IL) to clash with the Blue Demons in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. The Blue Demons come into the test with a record of 2-1. Maine East lost 8-2 in their recent non-league test against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL)
The Knights now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Deerfield for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21.
