September 14, 2024: Glen Burnie, MD 21060 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Glen Burnie Gophers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Calvert Cavaliers.
The Gophers (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Old Mill (Millersville, MD). The Patriots go into the Anne Arundel County outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Old Mill got by C. Milton Wright (Bel Air, MD), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a Southern Maryland outing, on Tuesday, September 17. Calvert will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Hurricanes go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 1-1 league La Plata (La Plata, MD).
