Vermont High School Soccer - Green Mountain nudged by Proctor
September 14, 2024: Proctor, VT 05765 Proctor Phantoms (Proctor, VT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Green Mountain Chieftains (Chester, VT), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Proctor moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Phantoms travel to Mill River (North Clarendon, VT) to clash with the Minutemen in a SVL-D test on Tuesday, September 17. The Minutemen come into the test with a record of 0-6. Mill River lost 4-1 in their recent league test against West Rutland (West Rutland, VT)
The Chieftains now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springfield for a SVL-C test on Wednesday, September 18. Green Mountain will clash with a Cosmos team coming off a 3-2 league win over Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT). The Cosmos record now stands at 6-0.
