September 14, 2024: Newcomb, NM 87455 Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Newcomb Skyhawks (Newcomb, NM), 42-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Tohatchi advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars host Gallup (Gallup, NM) to play the Bengals in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. The Bengals go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Gallup lost 45-6 in their recent non-league battle against Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM)
The Skyhawks now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wingate for a non-league contest on Monday, September 23.
