September 14, 2024: Dorchester, MA 02121 Wayland Warriors (Wayland, MA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Burke Bulldogs (Dorchester, MA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Wayland moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Weston (Weston, MA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tech Boston Academy/Academy of Public Service for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Burke will meet a Bears team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over East Boston (East Boston, MA). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.
