Michigan High School Soccer - Wayland nudges Otsego
September 14, 2024: Wayland, MI 49348 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Wayland Wildcats (Wayland, MI) and the visiting Otsego Bulldogs (Otsego, MI), saw Wayland's soccer squad hold off Otsego by a count of 2-1.
The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Union (Grand Rapids, MI). The Red Hawks enter the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Union tipped West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Edwardsburg Eddies (Edwardsburg, MI) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 18. Otsego will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eddies enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Plainwell (Plainwell, MI).
