New York High School Soccer - South Jefferson held off by Central Square

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Central Square Redhawks (Central Square, NY) soccer team edged the visiting South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY), by a count of 1-0.

Next, the Redhawks face the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams (DeWitt, NY) in a SCAC Empire contest, on Saturday, September 14. Central Square will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Red Rams enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 6-3 league win over Auburn (Auburn, NY).

With the loss, South Jefferson moves to 0-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to General Brown (Dexter, NY) to play the Lions in a Frontier- Division B bout on Tuesday, September 17. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-2. General Brown lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Indian River (Philadelphia, NY)
