In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Chesterton Trojans soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Goshen RedHawks.

The Trojans (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Penn (Mishawaka, IN). The Kingsmen go into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Penn got by South Bend Washington (South Bend, IN), 8-0, in a non-league match.

The RedHawks now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mishawaka for a Northern Lakes match on Monday, September 16. Goshen will meet a Cavemen team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN). The Cavemen record now stands at 0-8.
