September 14, 2024: Harvey, IL 60426 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL) and the visiting Curie Condors (Chicago, IL), saw Thornton's soccer squad knock off Curie by a count of 3-1.
The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Kelly (Chicago, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Kelly tipped Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Condors confront the Little Village Phoenix (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public First Central battle, on Wednesday, September 18. Curie will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Phoenix enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over North Grand (Chicago, IL).
