Ohio High School Soccer - Genoa Area toppled by Delta
September 14, 2024: Delta, OH 43515 Delta Panthers (Delta, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Delta advances its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Wauseon (Wauseon, OH) to clash with the Indians in a Northwest Ohio test on Thursday, September 19. The Indians come into the test with a record of 7-1. Wauseon won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Norwalk (Norwalk, OH)
The Comets now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Harbor for a Northern Buckeye test on Tuesday, September 17. Genoa Area will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bryan (Bryan, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 4-4.
