September 14, 2024: Moline, IL 61265 The Moline Maroons soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Pekin Dragons to 0 in the Maroons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Maroons now hold a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Quincy for a Western Big 6 bout on Tuesday, September 17. Moline will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Pekin moves to 1-5 on the year. The Dragons host Manual (Peoria, IL) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Monday, September 16. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Manual lost 5-0 in their recent league bout against Urbana (Urbana, IL)
