Northridge Grizzlies (Greeley, CO) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO), 11-9 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Northridge improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Grizzlies host Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO) to play the Roughriders in a 4A/3A Longs Peak game on Tuesday, September 17. The Roughriders enter the game with a record of 10-1. Roosevelt lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Berthoud (Berthoud, CO)

The Beetdiggers now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they host University for a 3A Patriot game on Tuesday, September 17. Brush will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Valley (Gilcrest, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-5.
