In Saturday's non-league test, the Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE), by a tally of 12-1.

Next, the Clippers clash with the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE) in a Trailblazer test, on Monday, September 16. Malcolm will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record. The Bluejays go into the test with a 10-7 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Pius X (Lincoln, NE).

The Mustangs (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE). The go into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder prevailed over Highway 91 (Leigh, NE), 14-2, in a non-league test.
