Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Churchland Truckers (Portsmouth, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Tallwood improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Bruins in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 3-2. Western Branch won 3-0 in their recent league test against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA)
