California High School Volleyball - Del Norte over Corning

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Del Norte Warriors (Crescent City, CA) and the visiting Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA), observed Del Norte's volleyball team top Corning by a count of 2-0.

The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Trinity was knocked off by University Prep (Redding, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. Corning will attempt to move on its 2-15 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 3-12 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA).
