September 14, 2024: Norfolk, VA 23505 Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Granby advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Comets travel to Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech (Elizabeth City, NC) to face the Griffins in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Griffins go into the test with a record of 5-4. Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Manteo (Manteo, NC)
The Pointers now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salem for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. West Point will face a Sundevils squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA). The Sundevils record now stands at 2-2.
